Appointments System

We run a daily telephone triage system, if you are feeling unwell, you will be added to the appropriate clinical triage and receive a telephone call on the same day.  

Alternatively, you may be asked for a video call if appropriate.

Should you need to be seen face to face this will be arranged on the day.

If your medical needs are non urgent you can complete our Contact Us Online form on our Home page.  We aim to respond within 3 days.

If you prefer you can download a manual prescription form, complete and post into the post box at the surgery entrance.  Just click on the Prescription Tab at the top of this page to access the form.



A chaperone is a person who serves as a witness for both a patient and a clinician as a safeguard for both parties during a medical examination or procedure.

If you feel you would like a chaperone present at your consultation please either inform Reception or speak to the doctor / nurse who will be more than happy to arrange this for you.

If you require an interpreter to attend with you when you see your Doctor please notify the receptionist and she will arrange this for you.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 11:00 if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice or the doctor may want more information regarding your illness before the visit.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
