MPharm(Hons) MRPharmS PgDipGPP
After completing my MPharm degree at The University of London, I trained and qualified as a Pharmacist at The Royal Free Hospital. I have worked in various clinical areas including elderly care, cardiology, acute medicine, surgery, paediatrics, infectious diseases; and have also had experience working in busy dispensaries, Medicines Information, Clinical Trials and Pharmacy Production.
Furthermore, I have some experience of working in CCG, community pharmacy, and the pharmaceutical industry. All of which enables me to help connect the dots and bridge the gaps between primary care (GP, community pharmacy and services) and specialist care in hospitals.
I am very excited to be part of NHS England’s national pilot integrating Pharmacists into General Practice as I feel I can provide a unique skillset which is very valuable to both patients and the Practice team. My clinics are currently focussed around reviewing medications to ensure they are safe and effective, supporting patients to get the best out of their medicines, stopping unnecessary medicines, and providing evidence-based advice where non-drug treatment is more or equally appropriate.
I recently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice and am currently working towards a qualification as an Independent Prescriber.
I have a real passion for music and spend a lot of my spare time as a (very) amateur composer
